Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck is on a five-man shortlist to be named England Player of the Year.
The Reds forward, who only made his senior international debut in March 2011, has impressed during his 11 appearances for the Three Lions in 2012.
During those games, which included friendlies, European Championship fixtures and World Cup qualifiers, Danny found the net five times – more than any other England player.
Also vying for the honour are Steven Gerrard, Joe Hart, Ashley Cole and Glen Johnson.
The award will be decided on a fan vote, so head to the official England website to show your support for Danny. Voting closes at midnight on Sunday 13 January.
The prize will be presented as part of the inaugural FA England Awards ceremony, which will take place at St. George’s Park on Sunday 3 February 2013.

Maturity key to Rafael's form

Reds right-back Rafael is arguably United’s most consistent performer this season and, although even he admits his surprise at the number of games he has played this season, the Brazilian believes his form is down to hard work and maturity.
Rafael has played more games – 21 in all competitions – than any other player in United’s squad this season, yet it is the quality of his performances as well as the quantity of appearances that has shone through.
“I start every season hoping to make an impression and play a lot of games, but I couldn’t have imagined how well this season has gone for me,” Rafael says in an exclusive interview with this month’s Inside United.
"It’s been great, and yes, I’ve been a little surprised to have played so many games. But I’m not a young player any more. I feel like I’ve developed and I want to play in every single game.”
United’s no.2 made his Reds debut back in August 2008 and, now 22 with over 100 club appearances under his belt, he feels he has come a long way as a player and a person.

“I’ve waited a long time for this – getting to this point hasn’t happened overnight,” he says. “I’ve been at this club for five years and that’s a long time. At first, the goal was to just play one game for Manchester United. Then, when you achieve that, you set other targets. Now I want to play very game and become a regular in the team.”
So, what’s changed? “I’m getting old!” he jokes. “No, I think this is just a natural development; it’s bound to happen when you play more games and have more experiences. My daughter has also helped me – [being a father] has settled me down a lot. When you’re a dad you have to be mature.
"Also, I think splitting from Fabio – he’s out on loan at Queens Park Rangers this season – has been a good experience. At first I was sad, but I’ve come to see that it’s made me grow up a lot. I’ve had to change and be more responsible.”

Sir Alex Ferguson revealed his pride after a statue of the most successful manager in United’s history was unveiled outside the Old Trafford stand named after him on Friday.
Ferguson’s wife, Lady Cathy – who he refers to as ‘the boss’ – revealed the bronze sculpture following a ceremony that paid tribute to his 26 glorious years at United.
Around 2,500 fans braved the wet Manchester weather to attend the event, along with Sir Alex’s family, his current squad and dozens of his former players, including Eric Cantona, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Peter Schmeichel, Edwin van der Sar and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
“It's a really proud moment for me,” Sir Alex said, before joking: “Normally people die before they have a statue. I'm outliving death!
“The boss [Lady Cathy] is a fantastic person. Someone has to control me and she's the only one who can. She has promised that every Saturday morning she's going to come down and bow to the statue!”
The statue’s sculptor, Philip Jackson, who was also responsible for the United Trinity and Sir Matt Busby statues at the stadium, spoke briefly about his latest project.
"I’ve tried to portray him as a man of great determination and as a thinking man, but also with humour, which he has in abundance, so there’s just a slight smile in the corner of his mouth. That’s really what I wanted to portray,” Jackson said.

United’s chief executive David Gill added his own words of praise, saying: “He's been the definition of a Manchester United manager.
“It's a pleasure and a privilege to work alongside him. Everyone knows the success Alex has achieved in the last 26 years.
“But for me, as a fan, a colleague and a friend, the greatest thing he has brought back to this club is respect. Respect for the staff, respect for the heritage and history of the club and respect for the Manchester United way.
“This magnificent work by Philip Jackson will serve as a reminder – long after those of us who can tell the tales have gone – of what a fantastic influence Alex has been on this great club.”
 After the unveiling of the statue and a plaque beneath it, Sir Alex’s invited guests entered the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand to view a new collection of artwork celebrating his quarter-century at the helm.

Pemain sayap Manchester United, Ashley Young senang bisa kembali di Old Trafford hari ini setelah dua pasang hasil buruk saat laga tandang baik di EPL serta di Champions League.

Semuanya berjalan dengan baik untuk United dengan kemenangan di Braga dan Villa (ex. klub Ashley Young) tetapi roda kemenangan United mulai macet dengan kekalahan di Norwich City akhir pekan lalu dan Galatasaray pada Selasa malam.

Young berharap United sekarang dapat mengambil keuntungan penuh dari bermain di Old Trafford - pertama melawan QPR hari ini- juga akan menguntungkan tim ini secara pribadi.

Striker Manchester City Mario Balotelli ingin segera kembali bermain di Italia. Hal ini diungkapkan oleh sahabatnya yang juga bek Manchester United Patrice Evra.

David Beckham

We all have moments, of madness, and we loss our heads,
We get road rage, and we see red,
We get angry and frustrated, a hundered times a day,
but we don't all kick somebody, we don't get our way, we don't get our way.

And as for David Beckham, full of that raw aggression,
it only took a second, on the ground,
I don't know what made him do it,
theres no rhyme or reason to it,
but before we knew it, he'd let us all down,
he'd let us all down.

You see your life in, slow motion, inside your head, in the moment before they prononce you dead,
Its like a prime time compelation, of the mistakes you've made in your life,
and the worst one, yes they've got it, and there showing it tonight,
there showing it tonight.

And i pity that David Beckham, i know how he feels i reckon,
knowing that one impression, can never be erased,
And every night he'll dream it, wishing he didn't feel it,
and hoping the time will heal it, one day,
one day

But despite the pain hes going through,
despite the depth he's going to,
he's still got so much going for him that BARSTARD,
With 8 million in the bank account,
and a Spice girl of his own to mount,
I have to say, the boy can play,
but no man is an island,
he can't hide behind the screen,
and everything does, has reeped, percustions on the team,
were all in that team.


And as for David Beckham, I hope he's Learn't his lesson,
Cause it felt like armagedon, it was such a shame.
Bring his head on a plata, say thanks for the dream you shattered, don't tell me it doesn't matter and its only a game.
Though we shouldn't hold unlucky old Beckham to blame,

And as for David Beckham, he's lying low i reckon,
hoping to be forgiven, but he feels so low.
Feel the weight on his shoulders,
an army of wounded soldiers,
on the ferry home,
were coming home.
